A Small Hiatus

(And I suddenly remembered why kids and glue guns don't mix... )

I have no idea why, but I haven't been in the mood to blog for months. It might have to do with the weather (hot! dry!), or the two kids I have with me all day (messy! cranky! cute!), or the two books I just read that had me captivated the whole time (just one more chapter!), or that I can manage to take hundreds of photos yet I can't recall the most simple words to tell a story correctly. I actually had to ask Brian, "What is the word for that thing you wash your hands with... um.... that thing?" "Soap?" He asked. I felt stupid, but probably not as stupid as the time a few years back when he asked me, "What is the name of the cereal shaped like honeycomb?"

So I am taking a little hiatus. Sorta. I am still taking photos and uploading to our Picasa site with funny captions. I am still on Facebook and recently discovered Instagram for my iPhone. Oh. My. I might never use my real camera again.

But here are some things I just put up on the blog. No new information, really, but you can check them out if you want.
